Can women receive revelation?

Yes. A few examples: In the Holy Quran, Allah Almighty mentions:

And We revealed to the mother of Moses saying, ‘Suckle him; and when thou fearest for him, then cast him into the river and fear not, nor grieve; for We shall restore him to thee, and shall make him one of the Messengers.’

(Surah al-Qasas, 28:8)

It is narrated about Hadrat Hajirara, mother of Hadrat Ismaelas:

Suddenly she heard a voice, and she said to that strange voice, “Help us if you can offer any help.” Lo! It was Gabriel (who had made the voice). Gabriel hit the earth with his heel like this (Ibn ‘Abbas hit the earth with his heel to illustrate it), and so the water gushed out. Ishmael’s mother was astonished and started digging.

(Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 60, Hadith 44)

The Promised Messiahas said that:

It has happened many times that the vision or revelation I receive, the people of my home [a term heas often used to refer to his wife] sees the same vision or dream.

(Sirat o Swanih Hadrat Amman Jan, p. 76)

Hadrat Khalifatul-Masih IIIrta said about Hadrat Nawwab Mubarakah Begum ra:

I know that there are many such people who have not seen  one one-thousandth of the true dreams she saw and they start developing an enthusiasm to become a saint. She would experience very clear visions, and she experienced them from her childhood.
